The MSGIA has partnered with Secure Environmental Consultants (SEC) to provide selected crisis management support services to our Workers’ Compensation pool members. The fees for these SEC services are covered by the MSGIA as part of our provided risk management services for our school district members. SEC also provides additional services for a fee if not included in the listing below:
- On-call virtual crisis management support as needed when districts encounter a crisis event and would like to discuss potential considerations, potential responses, communications, or actions.
- Virtual security assessment consulting services;
- Targeted social media monitoring for threats of violence made against the district, district staff, or students and concerns of student self-harm;
The MSGIA and SEC have partnered on several in-person and Zoom training sessions on various school district security matters over the past several years. SEC brings their professional expertise in a critical part of school district operations to support the school board members, administrative teams, and school district staff of all MSGIA members.
