Prescription Drug Program

The MSGIA has contracted with MedicalServiceQuotes.com (MSQ)  to act as our Pharmacy Benefits Manager.  This relationship helps keep the pool’s pharmacy costs competitive.  MSQ contracts with pharmacies across the state and nation and new pharmacies are continually being added.  It is very important to present your MSQ card to the pharmacist so they know to fill your work injury related prescriptions through this program.  MSGIA is not responsible for pharmacy charges not filled through MSQ network providers.

If you have any questions regarding an MSQ network pharmacy, please contact MedicalServiceQuotes.com
TOLL-FREE at (888) 894-3599  Option 2 and they will assist you in locating a network provider.

Travel Expense Form

If medical travel is requested by the MSGIA, you are entitled to reimbursement for expenses as defined on the travel reimbursement guideline. Generally, travel must be in relationship to the injury and the primary reason for travel. The travel requests must be made to WCRRP within 90 days of incurring the expense. 100 mile per month exclusion unless travel is at the direction of the insurer. Travel within your “community” is excluded. Qualifying mileage reimbursement at $0.67 per mile (effective 1/1/2024 thru present).

MSGIA e-Safety

MSGIA has put together a library of training resources for our customers and given them access to that library through our safe training partner.   We have several safety courses available to our Workers' Compensation Program Members as well as Bus Driver training available for our Property and Liability Program members. These can be accessed under the Safety resources link and then select Safe Schools Training and selecting your school district. An employees school email address is the only thing needed to log in to the safe system.

MSGIA believes that one of the tools to Safer and Healthier Staff and Students is through education and training. Our online offerings are one more way to access these services.

NOTE: You will need to be logged in to view some of these courses as this service is for members only. If you need assistance please contact us at 1-877-667-7392 or email us at insuranceservices@mtsba.org
