This school year we provided a focused Safety Grant for our Elementary School Districts. Each Elementary School District received pairs of YakTrax, a light weight traction device that can be pulled over the soles of shoes or boots. The intended purpose for the YakTrax use was for playground aids, teachers or other staff that are outdoors with the students at recess or breaks.

We worked with the Base Camp, a Montana based outdoor and recreation company with locations in Helena and Billings to purchase and ship the YakTrax to the Elementary Districts.
