MSGIA ANNOUNCES WINTER SAFETY GRANT
By Administrator Account

MSGIA Workers Compensation Risk Retention Program is making available a Winter Safety Grant for all school districts currently participating in the work comp program. The purpose of the safety grant is to assist MSGIA WC members in the planning process for the upcoming winter weather preparations. Our goal is to have School District begin to think about ways to reduce slip and fall injuries. Slips and falls continue to be the lead cause of accidents with our members and we are interested to hear your plans to reduce these types of accidents. The winner of the Winter Safety Grant will be awarded a Kawasaki Mule 610 4X4 XC.

If you were to own this piece of equipment, how would your district use this new tool to reduce slip and fall accidents?  Simply follow the instructions below and complete the application to be eligible to win!

Submission: Complete the online Winter Safety Grant questionnaire (http://www.msgia.org/WinterSafetyGrant.aspx) by October 31th, 2011 12:00 AM  MST.

Drawing: November 10, 2011 during the MASBO/MSGIA Business Managers Workers' Compensation Symposium
